'Bees' by Polyglot Theatre - National Botanic Gardens

Pack a picnic for a free, interactive outdoor theatre show for families at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin.

All performances of Bees are non-verbal, relaxed and outdoors.

Bees by Polyglot Theatre is a joyful, interactive work. Explore a buzzing, humming hive of activity, as three human-sized Bees busy themselves in the creation of a community. Children can follow the performers, play alongside them, transform into bees, or simply watch the action unfold. 

Inspired by the mysterious life of bees, this non-verbal performance immerses children in the sounds, shapes, and scents of an intricate, unseen world.

It is suitable for children age 2+years. The performance is 30 minutes' long.

Performances take place at the following times:

• Saturday, 3 October: 1.30pm; 2.30pm; and 4pm
• Sunday, 4 October: 11am; 1.30pm; and 2.30pm
