Safer Internet Day 2026 takes place on Tuesday, 10 February and focuses on the theme “AI Aware: Safe, Smart and in Control.” As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in everyday digital tools, including educational and assistive technology, this webinar will explore what AI awareness means in practice for children, young people, and the adults who support them.
This session will explore the benefits, risks and challenges it poses for children and young people. It will highlight the importance of building digital literacy skills to help make informed, responsible choices online.
The webinar will provide practical guidance and share resources for use in support and family settings to promote safer, more confident engagement with digital technologies.
