IMMA - Irish Museum of Modern Art
IMMA is fully wheelchair accessible. The buildings, shop, and basement cafe are all served by lifts. IMMA is quite a large site so there are travel distances between buildings.
IMMA Sensory Bags are available to borrow from main reception. They have both adult and child sensory bags available. Each bag contains ear defenders, a torch, a sheet of suggested activities, fidget toys and other sensory tools to help visitors have a relaxing and engaged visit to our galleries. If you would like to reserve a bag for your visit, please email foh@imma.ie
They also have a Sensory Box available in their Matheson Creativity Hub for participants of their family and schools’ engagement and learning programmes.
On Sundays at 2pm, they run Explorer family art workshops. Children and grown-ups can explore selected artworks in the museum and make artworks together. Explorer is free and drop-in but places are allocated on a first come first served basis and according to the space available on the day. Staff can direct you to this workshop from reception.
