IMMA - Irish Museum of Modern Art
IMMA is fully wheelchair accessible. The buildings, shop, and basement cafe are all served by lifts. IMMA is quite a large site so there are travel distances between buildings.
IMMA Sensory Bags are available to borrow from main reception. Each bag contains ear defenders, a torch, a sheet of suggested activities, fidget toys and other sensory tools. Please email foh@imma.ie to reserve a sensory bag for your visit.
They also have a Sensory Box available in their Matheson Creativity Hub for participants of their family engagement and learning programmes.
On Sundays at 2pm, they run Explorer family art workshops. Children and grown-ups can explore selected artworks in the museum and make artworks together. Explorer is free and drop-in but places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Staff can direct you to this workshop from reception.
