Fernhill Park and Gardens - Stepaside
In May 2026, a new inclusive woodland-themed playground was opened at Fernhill Park and Gardens. You can see a video on the playground here.
The playground has an agility play trail including trail tower, balance beams, jumping discs, stepping posts, balancing ropes, tunnels and climbing elements. It also has a 9-metre-high Hideaway Tower with two slides, as well as a variety of swings, including accessible, standard and basket swings.
There are quarry-themed play features, a trampoline and a spinner. There is also a large accessible toddler play unit with slide and quarry play elements.
