Neurodiverse South Project - SDCC Libraries - available resources

The Neurodiversity South resource catalogue offers support to children and adults with neurodiverse needs, learning difficulties, disabilities, or complex needs.

The resources can be borrowed through South Dublin County Libraries, and can be accessed free of charge. 

Items in the catalogue can be requested by contacting your local branch either by phone or email and collected at your local library, when available.

There are conditions of use for the catalogue - you can read the full list in the catalogue. Below is a summary of some of them:

  • Membership is free to anyone who lives, works or goes to school in South Dublin County.
  • Two items can be borrowed at a time.
  • The loan period is three weeks.
  • To register, users must have a letter of referral from an Occupational Therapist, Medical Practitioner such as Public Health Nurse or GP, Resource Teacher or other professional working with them.
  • Toys and equipment may vary slightly from the photographs in the catalogue but will function in the same way.
